I was born in Townsville and grew up in Carseldine with two older brothers, a younger sister, a horse and a dog.  I attended school and the first two years of Art College in Brisbane after which I travelled to Canada.

In Calgary I studied, produced and exhibited my art, helped set up a photographic studio and travelled in my Chevy throughout Alberta, British Columbia and Seattle.

After returning to Australia I spent the next three years in Tasmania studying, producing and exhibiting my work.  

Returning to Brisbane I began working for the State Government as well as continuing my art. I became a domestic engineer and had two sons Samuel and Joseph, now 24 and 22 respectively.

I began part time receptionist work at Websters World of Fitness and was sponsored, by management, to train as a Personal Trainer, working for Websters over the next six years.  During this time I  started a studio with another trainer in 2000.

In 2004 I started my own Personal Training studio at Newmarket which ran successfully for the next 4 years until being destroyed by fire in 2008. Since then I have continued my business as a sub-lessee of other studio space. I have worked out of Resultz since 2012 and have conducted a gardening business for the last 5 years.
